This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains the conditions under which customers may cancel an order or request a refund when purchasing digital activation keys (“Products”) from YamCodes.com, operated by:

By placing an order on the Website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Digital Goods – Important Notice

Activation keys are digital products delivered electronically.
Under EU digital content laws (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers lose the right of withdrawal once:

  • the activation key has been delivered,

  • the key has been viewed or revealed,

  • the key has been accessed in any form,

  • the key has been redeemed.

Therefore, once a digital activation key is delivered or displayed to the customer, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

This rule exists to prevent misuse and is fully compliant with EU digital goods regulations.

2. Eligibility for Order Cancellation

2.1. Standard Orders

Customers may request cancellation of a standard order within 24 hours of placing the order, provided that the activation key:

  • has not been delivered,

  • has not been viewed or revealed,

  • has not been redeemed,

  • has not been retrieved through a supplier API.

2.2. After Delivery

Once the system marks an activation key as delivered (via email, dashboard access, or API retrieval), the order becomes non-cancellable.

3. Pre-Order Cancellations

3.1. Before the Release Date

Customers may cancel any pre-order at any time before the official product release date.

3.2. After the Release Date

Once the product is released and a key is delivered, it becomes subject to the digital goods rules described in Section 1.

5. Refund Eligibility

A refund may be issued if the following conditions are met:

  • the cancellation request is approved, and

  • the activation key has not been:

    • delivered,

    • opened,

    • displayed,

    • redeemed,

    • retrieved through the supplier API.

6. Refund Exclusions (Non-Refundable Cases)

Refunds cannot be issued if:

  • the activation key was delivered,

  • the key was redeemed or revealed,

  • the product was purchased for an incompatible region,

  • the activation platform (Steam, Uplay, Epic, Origin, etc.) rejects activation,

  • the customer’s platform account is banned or restricted,

  • any game functionality issue arises (this is the publisher’s responsibility),

  • delivery delays occur due to third-party platform or API outages,

  • the order was flagged by automated fraud systems after fulfillment.

7. Refund Method and Processing Time

7.1. Refund Method

Refunds are issued only to the original payment method used at checkout.

7.2. Currency of Refund

Refunds are processed in the same currency as the original transaction.
YamCodes is not responsible for currency exchange rate differences or additional bank fees.

7.3. Processing Time

Once approved, refunds typically take:

  • 5–7 business days for debit/credit card payments,

  • 1–3 business days for e-wallets (e.g., PayPal).

Processing times depend on the customer’s bank or payment provider.

8. Chargebacks and Dispute Management

To avoid unnecessary disputes, customers should contact customer support before initiating a chargeback.

8.1. If a Chargeback Is Filed Without Contacting Us

YamCodes may present evidence to your bank, including:

  • proof of delivery,

  • API supplier logs,

  • activation verification details,

  • device/IP logs,

  • communication records.

8.2. Abuse or Fraud

If a chargeback is filed after receiving a valid, unused key, YamCodes may:

  • suspend future purchasing ability,

  • report the incident to fraud-prevention systems,

  • formally dispute the chargeback with documented evidence.

9. Automated Systems and Order Blocking

Our automated fraud-prevention systems may:

  • cancel suspicious transactions,

  • block future purchases,

  • require additional identity verification.

Customers may request manual review via customer support.

10. Exceptional Situations (Force Majeure)

YamCodes is not responsible for delays or inability to process cancellations or refunds caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • outages on game platforms (Steam, Epic Games, Uplay, Origin),

  • supplier API delays,

  • data center failures,

  • widespread internet disruptions,

  • cyber-attacks,

  • natural disasters or other emergencies.

11. When Refund Responsibility Transfers to Product Owners

YamCodes is responsible solely for delivering a valid, unused activation key.

Responsibility transfers to the publisher, developer, or platform operator when issues relate to:

  • game bugs or crashes,

  • DRM or activation server failures,

  • changes in regional restrictions,

  • revoked keys or platform-level enforcement,

  • bans or penalties applied by the platform.

Game publishers and platform owners do not issue refunds through YamCodes.
